Our Fire Surrounds are all handmade in our Peak District Workshop from local stones quarried
or mined in the British Isles. They are all individually made and we design each to your personal requirements and will travel anywhere in the UK to install everything for you.

We supply and fit Woodburning Stoves, Flues and Liners and are HETAS registered.
​
We offer a full installation, complete renovation and alteration service too.
​
We also supply Masonry Stone for the Building Industry.

Heritage Stoneworks Ltd is nestled in the heart of Derbyshire and is owned by Simon Tarr who has had a lifelong involvement in the stone and building industry starting the business in1998.
Simon offers a personal service designing, creating and installing bespoke hand carved fire surrounds. He also specialises in architectural masonry for new builds
and period restorations.
We have a small showroom and workshop in Tideswell where Simon personally creates everything by hand. Every fire surround is tailor made to exact specifications, with drawings that are thoroughly discussed with the Client so that everything is perfect for them. He works with every Client through all stages of the design and installation so that they receive a truly personal and bespoke service.
Located in the Peak District, we offer a UK wide service and have completed work in every corner of the Country. The changing architecture of period properties and new developments around the UK always makes the design process interesting, and Simon can offer advice on what stone and surround will suit your home in its surroundings.
